On November 9th, Franklin Sabers Robotics helped host the FLL Regional tournament at Franklin High School. FLL which stands for FIRST Lego League, gives elementary and middle school students experience in the robotics in a fun and exciting way. Along with their adult leaders, students work together to build and program mini robots to complete various tasks. The students work with hands-on STEM experiences, build their confidence, grow knowledge and habits of learning, and are encouraged to try, fail, and try again. This year at Franklin High School’s FLL tournament, there were 14 teams as well as over 60 volunteers at this years competition. Students were very excited to participate and with help from high school robotics members were able to learn more about robotics and the engineering field.
